Electric spindleIt is a precision high-speed electromechanical integrated product that involves many skills such as mechanical, electrical control, smoothness, cooling, vibration, materials, and heat treatment. Especially in the bearing industry, as the core component of grinding machines, if the electric spindle has any defects during the production process, it may not only seriously affect production, but also cause damage to related equipment. Timely detection of various defects in the electric spindle and adoption of effective solutions are essential operations in production.
Common drawbacks and solutions:
High noise and vibration: The main shaft is damaged due to improper equipment, resulting in bearings or other components with low accuracy or poor retention. The coaxiality between the stator and rotor is poor, and there is a gap between the stator and rotorqiUneven gaps, low precision in the production of spindle parts or deformation after long-term use that damages balance accuracy, insufficient preload or spring not installed in place or even cracked, rotor cage bar cracking or poor contact, poor rigidity of grinding wheel connecting rod, and low precision.
Solution: Choose a better bearing, modify the coaxiality of the stator and rotor, check the accuracy of the main parts such as the housing, shaft, rotor, and cover, increase the preload force, and use a rigid and high-precision grinding wheel connecting rod for the electric spindle to ensure its normal and stable operation.
Poor machining accuracy: The bearing accuracy is low, the spindle accuracy is poor, the spindle accuracy is lost due to human damage or long-term operation, the cooperation between the front bearing seat and the bearing is too loose, the preload is too small or the parts are stuck, the front and rear nuts are loose, the shaft moves, and the quality of the grinding wheel connecting rod is poor.
Solution: Choose a better bearing, assemble it from scratch, coat the seat hole and spindle with hard chrome, re grind to the required accuracy, increase the pre tightening force, lock the front and rear nuts, and tighten them with locking screws. Choose a rigid and high-precision grinding wheel connecting rod.
Deceleration or unstable speed: The power supply voltage is too low, does not match the electrical parameters, the power is low, the rotor cage bars are cracked or have poor contact.
Solution: Firstly, check whether the power output, frequency, voltage, power, and electric spindle match. If the electric spindle power is too low, choose a higher power electric spindle that meets the working conditions, check the quality of the cage bars, and choose to use a larger capacity electric spindle.
Continuous burning of bearings: poor smoothness, high speed, insufficient or excessive preload, and excessive load-bearing capacity.
Solution: Replace the grease or check the quality of the oil mist, check the oil supply in the oil passage, measure the speed, adjust the frequency converter to ensure the normal operation of the electric spindle, detect and adjust the preload to reach the optimal value.
Spindle heating:The cooling water circuit is not smooth, the selected bearings have low accuracy, the cooperation is too tight, the bearings are reversed or the equipment is not in place, the preload is too large, the power supply voltage is too high, and the grinding feed is too large.
Solution: Check and clear the waterway, select a good bearing, measure its size, select it from scratch, reduce the preload appropriately, start the equipment from scratch, check the air gap and current value between the stator and rotor, check the power supply voltage, and control the grinding feed rate.
