High precision electric spindleIt is the core component of high-speed machine tools. The precision of each part of the high-precision electric spindle unit is generally in the μ m level, usually 1-3 μ m, and the spindle stiffness is generally 100-300N/μ m. Therefore, the precision error and deformation of each part of the high-precision electric spindle are very small. However, when the bearing operates at high speed, the heat generated by the bearing is significant, leading to an increase in bearing temperature and resulting in thermal deformation.

The error caused by thermal deformation is much greater than the accuracy error and deformation, and it can directly change the pre tension state of the bearing, affect the stiffness characteristics of the bearing and the machining accuracy of the electric spindle, and even lead to thermal bite of the bearing, damaging the high-precision electric spindle. The heating problem of high-precision electric spindles reduces their reliability in actual production. Therefore, analyzing the thermal characteristics of bearings and mastering their thermal characteristics is of crucial significance for improving the stability and reliability of high-precision electric spindle machining.
