1. When starting the precision electric spindle equipment, it is also necessary to promptly clean the external dust and dirt, wipe the contacts, check whether there are burn marks on each wiring part, and whether the grounding wire is in good condition.


2. Inspection of insulation condition. The insulation ability of insulation materials varies depending on the degree of drying, so it is important to check the drying condition of motor windings. The humid working environment of the motor and the presence of corrosive gases in the workspace can damage electrical insulation. A common fault is winding grounding, which refers to insulation damage that causes the live parts to collide with non live metal parts such as the casing. Such a fault not only affects the normal operation of the motor, but also endangers personal safety. So when using the motor, it is necessary to regularly check the insulation resistance and also pay attention to whether the grounding of the motor casing is reliable.


3. Inspection and maintenance of bearings. After a period of use, it is necessary to clean the bearings and replace the lubricating grease or oil. The cleaning and oil change time depends on the working conditions, working environment, cleanliness level, and lubricant type of the motor. Generally, it needs to be cleaned and the lubricating grease needs to be replaced every 3-6 months of operation. Replace the lubricant according to the level of the motor (regular replacement: once every three months for level 2 motors, once every six months for level 4 and 6 motors, and once a year for level 8 motors). When the oil temperature is high, or when the environmental conditions are poor and there is a lot of dust on the motor, it is necessary to clean and change the oil regularly.


4. In addition to the above mentioned items, a major overhaul is required every year of operation. The purpose of the major overhaul is to conduct a thorough and comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the electric spindle, supplement missing and worn parts of the motor, thoroughly clean the dust and dirt inside and outside the motor, check the insulation condition, clean the bearings and inspect their wear, and promptly deal with any problems found.
