Electric spindle maintenanceWhat are the steps

1、 Appearance inspection:

1. Remove debris and dust from the shaft body, remove rust from the spindle, and obtain detailed information on the registered spindle of the electric spindle brand.

2. Clean the electric spindle housing with professional cleaning solution, check for rust and collision marks on the housing, analyze the cause of rust, and register the location of the collision.
3. Check if the gas-liquid output of the cutting cylinder is normal, check if the pulling mechanism is loose, check if the spindle tool interface is damaged or bumped, in order to determine if there are any signs of collision. Check if there are any debris adhering to the cone and end surfaces of the spindle tool interface, in order to determine the accuracy of the cone and end surfaces.
4. Check if the power cord interface at the back end of the electric spindle is damaged, check if the power cord and signal cord have fallen off, determine if the fallen off wire belongs to the line, and record feedback information in detail.
5. Check whether the gas-liquid inlet and outlet are damaged, and mark the gas-liquid inlet and outlet properties with professional labels. Check if the rotary joint and interface are damaged. Use professional tools to package and label the details of each joint.


2、 Mechanical accuracy testing:

1. Use a dial gauge to detect the end face and taper hole surface runout at the tool interface, and register the detection data.
2. Select specialized inspection rods such as BT/HSK/ISO/SK to detect the far end runout of the spindle, measure the runout at 200mm of the inspection rod, and register the measured runout data.
3. If the spindle runout still exceeds the standard after replacing the bearing and repairing the taper hole accuracy, professional equipment needs to be used to test the coaxiality of the spindle core, in order to determine the main reason for the spindle runout exceeding the standard.
4. Choose a professional tensioner to test whether the tension of the spindle puller mechanism is normal to determine if the tension of the disc spring is insufficient.
5. Check whether the main shaft sleeve and bearing seat are worn, check whether the main shaft cooling water channel is unobstructed, check whether the main shaft air path is unobstructed, register the test data, especially indicate the excessive data and attach preliminary judgment results.
