Electric spindleMaintenance is very important, so what should be paid attention to during maintenance?

Key points to note for electric spindle maintenance:

1. Measure static and dynamic radial runout, lifting clearance, and axial displacement based on the damage of the electric spindle.

2. Use self-made specialized tools to disassemble the electric spindle. Clean and measure the rotor runout and wear.

3. Optional bearings. The consistency error of the inner hole and outer diameter of each set of bearings should be ≤ 0.002-0.003mm, and a gap of 0.004-0.008mm should be maintained with the inner hole of the sleeve; Maintain a gap of 0.0025-0.005mm with the spindle. Electric spindle maintenance should focus on Titanium Hao Machinery. In practical operation, it is better to use both thumbs to push the bearing into the sleeve. Tightness can cause deformation of the outer ring of the bearing, excessive temperature rise of the bearing, and looseness can reduce the stiffness of the grinding head.

4. The cleanliness of bearings is an important part of ensuring their normal operation and service life. Do not use compressed air to blow bearings, as the hard particles in compressed air can cause the raceway to become rough.

5. Be sure to pay attention to the installation direction of tapered bearings or angular contact ball bearings, otherwise the required rotational accuracy cannot be achieved. The entire assembly process uses specialized tools to eliminate assembly errors and ensure assembly quality.

6. When the inner hole of the sleeve deforms, the roundness exceeds the tolerance, or the fit with the bearing is too loose, the local electroplating method can be used for compensation and then ground to the required level. This method can also be used at the shaft neck.

7. The end faces of the round nuts, oil seals, and other parts on the electric spindle are in close contact with the end faces of the inner and outer rings of the bearing, so the perpendicularity between the threaded part and the end face is required to be high. The contact condition can be checked by painting method. If the contact rate is less than 80%, the end face can be ground to achieve the required verticality. This work is very important, as its accuracy will affect the radial runout of the grinding machine spindle extension rod, thereby affecting the surface roughness of the ground workpiece.

8. After assembly, the electric spindle should be adjusted axially (measured with a tension spring scale), and static and dynamic radial runout and lifting clearance should be measured until the assembly process requirements are met

9. Under actual operating conditions of the machine, excluding the influence of factors such as assembly and thermal deformation during machine operation, a dynamic balancing instrument is applied to dynamically balance the rotor at a certain speed.

At any time, when repairing an electric spindle, attention should be paid to the above points, otherwise it may directly affect the working life of the electric spindle.
