The high-speed electric spindle is the core component of high-speed machining centers. In the machining of free-form surfaces and complex contours in molds, end mills with diameters ranging from 2 to 12 millimeters are often used. However, high cutting speeds are required for electrodes used in electrical discharge machining of copper or graphite materials. Therefore, the electric spindle needs to have a high rotational speed. When processing molds, high rotational speeds are always used, and the heat generated by high speeds, as well as the vibrations that may occur during cutting, can affect the accuracy of mold processing.

In order to ensure the stability of high-speed electric spindle operation, sensors for measuring temperature, displacement, and vibration are installed on the spindle to monitor the temperature rise, axial displacement, and vibration of the motor, bearings, and spindle. This provides correction data for the CNC system of high-speed machining centers to modify spindle speed and feed rate, and optimize machining parameters. When the spindle experiences axial displacement, compensation can be made through zero point correction or trajectory correction.

Before use, check that the different axial degrees of the grinding wheel connecting rod do not exceed 0.03mm. During grinding, do not hit the shaft end. The electric spindle must be completely stopped before turning off the oil mist. The oil mist pipeline joint should be cleaned thoroughly to prevent dirt from entering and causing bearing burnout. Then supply lubricating oil mist to the electric spindle, and connect the oil mist pipeline before use. The electric spindle can only be started after a slight oil mist leaks out from the front end. It is recommended to use No. 5 spindle oil to adjust the oil inlet to 18-25 drops/minute for oil mist lubrication, and regularly check it to meet the requirements to avoid oil breakage and damage to the spindle. All electric spindles are lubricated with grease.
