To reduceElectric spindleThe usage error rate of the electric spindle requires that the inlet and outlet pipes be connected according to the corresponding requirements and checked for any water leakage. The cooling system must operate continuously from start-up to shutdown, and a separate water tank must be used for the coolant, which needs to be replaced every month. We need to match the power, frequency, and voltage of the frequency converter and electric spindle for use. The current of the frequency converter should be set according to the current of the electric spindle.
Secondly, when installing the electric spindle, the taper holes on the spindle head should be cleaned thoroughly, and the dirt on the surface of the spring clamp should also be cleaned thoroughly to effectively prevent a decrease in accuracy. The electric spindle manufacturer reminds everyone to be careful not to apply too much force when clamping the electric spindle nut. In addition, the bearings that come into contact with the ball have a limited speed limit, and the electric spindle cannot exceed the speed limit, otherwise it will burn out the bearings of the precision contactor.
If we hear abnormal sounds inside the electric spindle, we need to check it and feel if there is any heating or vibration. If so, we need to perform a shutdown inspection and check if the quality is stable during the machining process.
In addition, the electric spindle also needs to be lubricated regularly. The commonly used lubrication methods for the motor spindle bearings include grease lubrication, oil mist lubrication, oil air lubrication, spray lubrication, and other methods. Lubricating with grease does not require any equipment and is a commonly used lubrication method for low-speed spindles. Spindles with DN values above 1.0 × 106 often use oil lubrication methods, where oil mist lubrication uses pressurized air to atomize lubricating oil to lubricate the bearings.
Oil air lubrication refers to a small amount of lubricating oil that is not atomized and is regularly and quantitatively uniformly carried by compressed air along the wall of a dedicated oil air pipeline to the lubrication area of the bearing. Lubricating oil provides lubrication, while compressed air drives the movement of lubricating oil and cools bearings. Jet lubrication is the direct lubrication and cooling of bearings with high-pressure lubricating oil, which consumes a large amount of electricity and is costly. It is commonly used on ultra high speed spindles with DN values of 2.5 × 106 or higher.
