Precautions for using electric spindle

1. The electric spindle and frequency converter need to be used together, and the specifications and parameter settings of the frequency converter should match the rated parameters of the electric spindle. If the setting is incorrect, it will burn out the electric spindle.

2. Before using the water-cooled electric spindle, it is necessary to ensure the normal operation of the cooling circulation system. It is strictly prohibited to use it without cooling. The connection between the cooling water pipe and the water nozzle should be reliable and leak free.

3. The coolant needs to be clean, free of grease, and the temperature should be controlled between 5-30 degrees Celsius. If the ambient temperature is above 40 degrees Celsius, the cooling medium needs to be forcibly cooled.

4. During the storage and transportation of electric spindles, the state of high-speed grease inside the bearings may change. Customers should perform low-speed running in before use. The running in process starts from the lowest speed of the electric spindle. If it is started at high speed without running in, abnormal noise, heat generation and other phenomena may occur, which will affect the service life of the electric spindle bearings.

Moreover, the electric spindle must be preheated every day and processed only after reaching the processing speed. It is strictly prohibited to strike the electric spindle, and attention should be paid to preventing collisions during transportation and storage, especially at the shaft end.
