Precautions for high-speed electric spindle maintenance

1. Connect the power supply of the frequency converter based on the required voltage input in practical applications; And the power supply connected to the frequency converter needs to be filtered and consolidated, ensuring that the voltage connected to the frequency converter does not fluctuate.


2High speed electric spindleIt cannot be subjected to any direction or form of impact. After being impacted, the high-speed electric spindle will be damaged, and even the bearings will be damaged, affecting the service life of the high-speed electric spindle.


3. Each high-speed electric spindle can reach a sealed state after ventilation. Please refer to the parameters on the label of the electric spindle housing for the flow rate of the sealing gas (the pressure of the sealing gas needs to be strictly controlled). Excessive air pressure can damage the lubricating grease or lubrication system of the bearing. If the bearing is not lubricated, it will be damaged in high-speed electric spindles; If the air pressure is too low, the sealing effect cannot be achieved.

The tool change pressure at the rear end of the high-speed electric spindle should refer to the parameters on the label of the electric spindle housing. When the tool change pressure is greater than the parameters on the label of the electric spindle housing, the gas odor will be blown out through the contact surface between the rotor cone and the chuck at the front end of the intermediate rod and the cracks in the chuck, which helps to clean the cone surface. Especially during the grinding process of ceramic inserts, the conical surface needs to be cleaned regularly.

It is recommended to use a pressure valve (with a pressure gauge) to regulate the air pressure. The pressure regulating valve needs to be installed near the sealing air interface of the high-speed electric spindle to ensure that the sealing air pressure entering the high-speed electric spindle is within the specified range. Moreover, the tool changing gas and sealing gas entering the high-speed electric spindle need to be filtered to meet the requirements of dryness and dust-free.

4. Please use matching professional tools to disassemble and assemble the clamp.


5. The selection of cutting tools and the setting of related parameters such as high-speed electric spindle speed need to be determined based on the premise of on-site cutting.


6. The drive cable of the high-speed electric spindle should be matched with the cable.


7. Suggest using water cooling devices for heat dissipation and cooling of high-speed electric spindles; At the same time, it is required to regularly check the operating environment of the water cooling device. If there are any abnormalities, please stop using the high-speed electric spindle. It can only be used after troubleshooting and rectification.


8. Note that the cone surface of the chuck used needs to be connected clean and free of scratches, otherwise it will change the accuracy of the cone surface at the front end of the high-speed electric spindle rotor, resulting in failure to lock the tool and causing tool dropping or breakage.
