Precautions for choosing an electric spindle:
The characteristics of an electric spindle are constant torque and constant power. Constant power is more expensive, and the constant torque of the engraving machine spindle is more suitable.
This model uses both air and water cooling. Air cooling was mainly used for early low-power spindles with several hundred watts. Nowadays, water-cooled electric spindles are mainly used in engraving machines, with high power and low noise.
There are three lubrication methods: oil mist and grease. High speed electric spindles above 24000 revolutions per minute use oil mist and are supplied with oil through a special oil circuit. Installation and use are both complex. Most carving machines use grease lubrication, and the speed can be adjusted between 6000-24000 revolutions per minute. Speed.
The 4-support type has 2 bearings, 3 bearings, and 4 bearings. The 3 bearings and 4 bearings are suitable for heavy loads such as engraving steel. When using a spindle of 1.5 kW or more, soft metal is generally sufficient to support 2 bearings.
The 5 spindle core frame is welded with aluminum alloy and stainless steel. Currently, most spindle core frames are made of aluminum alloy, which is lightweight but bulky. Some new products now use stainless steel welded core frames, which can reduce the spindle size at the same power. For example, the volume of a 1.5kW spindle is usually about Φ 80 × 215mm. The new product of stainless steel welded core frame spindle is about Φ 65 × 210mm, which is more suitable for engraving machines, but the price is one or two hundred yuan.
Choose a frequency converter with a power greater than the spindle power to fully utilize the spindle output power. The 1.2kW spindle is equipped with a 1.5kW frequency converter, and the 1.5kW spindle is equipped with a 2.2kW frequency converter.
