1. When choosing an electric spindle, it is important to pay attention to the application scenario. The interface of different application interfaces is different. In addition, it is important to understand your power requirements and the corresponding speed at this power. Because the same 1kW, the external dimensions of the electric spindle vary greatly between 1000 rpm and 10000 rpm, so the working conditions must be accurate.


2. Grinding electric spindles are usually motors with a constant torque design. The higher speed of the motor is proportional to the power and voltage, and the voltage and power increase linearly with the increase of the electric spindle speed. The current remains basically constant because the relationship between torque and current is linear, so the electric spindle of this system is a constant torque motor.

The design of general grinding electric spindles considers a relatively small speed range, usually 80% -100% of higher speeds, while also taking into account the allowable linear speed of higher grinding wheels. Therefore, it is generally not possible to use both high-speed small grinding wheels and low-speed large grinding wheels simultaneously during use. At the same time, due to the close speed grading of the grinding electric spindle, users can choose different grinding requirements separately, thereby maximizing and better utilizing the working capacity and efficiency potential of the electric spindle.


3. The interface of the tool used must be clear, and this is also a principle. In general, the interface speed of BT50 can only be used for electric spindles below 8000 revolutions per minute, while the interface of BT40 can be used for electric spindles below 18000 revolutions per minute. If higher speeds are required, the corresponding HSK or other high-speed tool interfaces should be selected for the tool interface. The ER spring chuck or SD spring chuck used on precision electric spindles also allow for higher speeds.
