high-speed
Electric spindleIt is the core component of high-speed machining machines, and the correct use and maintenance of electric spindles have a significant impact on the improvement of machining accuracy and the extension of service life of high-speed machining machines. Doing the following points well can improve the operation and maintenance effect of the electric spindle.
1. Do not clean the electric spindle with compressed air to prevent dust from entering the spindle gap and damaging the spindle bearings.
2. When cleaning the area around the electric spindle, although the spindle is stopped, the machine tool should be powered on and ensure that the spindle bearings are in the air curtain protection state.
3. During the use of an electric spindle, it is important to apply cutting fluid to the cutting tool and not to the end of the spindle shaft.
4. The tool holder of the tool installed on the electric spindle needs to be cleaned regularly with a clean soft cloth to prevent dust from entering the spindle taper hole. Even when not in use, a tool holder should be kept on the spindle to protect the spindle taper hole.
5. New or unused electric spindles that have not been used for more than a month must ensure low-speed rolling at the beginning of operation and perform spindle preheating and idle work.
6. In order to ensure the high precision of the electric spindle, only dynamically balanced standard cutting tools can be used during high-speed operation. When performing high-precision cutting, preheat the electric spindle for thirty minutes to achieve thermal stability.
