The spindle is a set of components, including the electric spindle itself and its accessories: the electric spindle high-frequency inverter, oil mist lubricator, cooling unit, built-in encoder, and tool changer. The spindle motor and the machine tool spindle are combined into a transmission structure, which makes the spindle components relatively independent of the transmission system and the overall structure of the machine tool. Therefore, it can be made into a "spindle unit", commonly known as "ElectricSpindle" (motorized spindle). It has a high-speed, high-precision, low-noise inner ring and a locking structure, which is more suitable for spray lubrication.

Electric spindle

Along with linear motor technology and high-speed cutting tool technology, it has pushed high-speed machining into a new era. With the rapid development and improvement of electric drive technology (frequency control technology, motor vector control technology, etc.), the mechanical structure of the main transmission system of high-speed CNC machine tools has been greatly simplified, basically excluding belt transmission and gear transmission. The spindle of the machine tool is directly driven by a built-in motor, which shortens the length of the main transmission chain of the machine tool to zero, achieving "zero transmission" of the machine tool. The transmission structure of the "spindle unit" spindle motor and machine tool spindle makes the spindle components relatively independent of the transmission system and the overall structure of the machine tool, also known as the "electric spindle" (electric spindle). Due to the current use of AC high-frequency motors, electric spindles are also known as "high-frequency spindles". Due to the lack of an intermediate transmission link, it is sometimes referred to as a "direct drive spindle".
